We’re thrilled to announce that ABC’s Nightline will feature the wrongful conviction case of Jamie Snow in a powerful national broadcast airing Tuesday, June 3, 2025.
Anchored by Linsey Davis, the segment will examine the disturbing flaws behind Jamie’s 2001 conviction for the 1991 murder of a gas station attendant in Bloomington, Illinois — a conviction based entirely on discredited jailhouse informants and inconsistent eyewitness testimony.
Despite no physical evidence linking him to the crime, Jamie has spent nearly 25 years behind bars. Over the years, multiple witnesses have recanted, and newly discovered evidence has raised serious questions about misconduct and the suppression of key facts. Still, the state continues to oppose DNA testing that could prove his innocence.
Now, with a Leave to Appeal pending before the Illinois Supreme Court, this Nightline episode couldn’t come at a more critical time.
The segment features powerful voices calling for justice:
🎙️ Jamie Snow, speaking out from prison in his own words
🎙️ John Grisham, author & justice advocate
🎙️ Jason Flom, Wrongful Conviction podcast
🎙️ Marty Tankleff, exoneree & reform leader
🎙️ Marc Howard, Georgetown professor
🎙️ Karl Leonard, Jamie’s attorney, Exoneration Project
🎙️ Nicole & Jessica Snow, Jamie’s daughters
